Hours:                        Monday through Friday - 8am to 4pm EST

 

Description:               

 

Small sized game development firm is seeking a junior PHP Developer for
exciting web development projects. The developer will work with the team to
conceptualize and develop web-based applications that meet company and
client expectations and overall project goals. You will work in a small
team, under a project lead. Ideal candidate will have 1 - 3 years of
development experience, high technical aptitude, a positive team player
attitude, and be excited and ready to be challenged technically and grow
overall technical skills.

Qualifications:

 

BA in Computer Science (or similar concentration) or equivalent educational
background.  

 

Candidates must have 1-3 years of PHP experience, including experience in
the following:

 

High-traffic PHP environments

Debugging live applications

SQL (specifically MySQL)

Object Oriented Concepts within PHP

PHP 4.3 and above

CVS Systems

Writing applications to both create and parse XML documents

PEAR

Statistic gathering applications

Writing modular, documented and efficient code

Creating HTML tables without the aid of a design tool.

 

Required Skills:         

 

PHP, HTML, CSS, XML, XHTML, Dreamweaver or other design tool, SSH, Apache,
MySQL, SQL, Linux/FreeBSD and Windows.

 

Candidates must have a portfolio of previous sites developed and code
samples available for review.
