Jr Admin / Developer
Ultrastar is looking for aspiring developer in training with excellent networking skills. This Jr. position will involve internal network support and serve as the IT departments developer in training seat. In the IT seat you will assist senior developers with troubleshooting, problem solving and routine maintenance.
This is a perfect position for a Jr. Admin/Developer looking for experience in a growing company with an eye on long term network administration and/or Java/PHP development. Professional experience is not mandatory, but skill sets must be strong and the candidate should be willing to learn new technologies and not be afraid to jump into the deep end!
Required:
· MySQL/ PHP
· Working knowledge of LAN and hardware support
· Working knowledge of Windows based systems
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work in a fast pasted environment
Desired:
· HTML, PERL
· Linux, Mac
· Shell Scripting
· PHP MyADMIN
This is a full time, in-house position in NY with benefits. Full time contractor OK - but position is in-house / fulltime.
