Joseph,

This is contrary to what I know most recruiters to operate like. The
ones I worked with simply negotiate with their Client (the company
they recruit for) a percentage of the employee's salary. That is extra
and does NOT get subtracted from the future employee's salary.
Therefore, the higher your salary, the higher their commission, so it
is in their interest to get you a good pay.
I don't know how many work like that, but in my understNding most of them.
