The project will involve taking a legacy gaming platform and making
performance modifications and security improvements. Experience with the
different mysql storage engines is needed. The platform is currently using
MyISAM and is running into lock contention issues. Will need to migrate all
tables over to InnoDB, perform regression tests and any code updates needed.
In addition There are small feature requests that may be needed in the near
term as well.

After the game is stabilized and horizontally scalable, you will be working
on a large server farm with LOTS of bare-metal machines and vm instances at
your disposal. This is a great chance to really step in and help plan the
direction of upcoming multiplayer games in the hotest of technology stacks
both server side and on mobile devices.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of production LAMP stack experience.

Extra bonus points for knowing how to performance test the LAMP stack... in
particular with regards Mysql.

Memcache experience is a plus!
Percona experience is big plus!
Redis, RabbitMQ and in knowledge in general on asynchronous, concurrent and
high performance computing is amazing!
