 Database/Linux Administrator  - 100K - 120K



 

Dream 
candidate will possess:



 


Experience administering
 
MySQL
 databases
 

Deep knowledge of SQL (logical database design, optimization of SQL queries
, stored procedures and 
triggers)
 
Linxu Administration experience
 
Perl or Python  - scripting languages
.





 

You are a good team player with on-call experience, and excellent troubleshooting skills, and you're experienced in managing operating systems and software systems
 - especially 
post development
.  
Ideally, your expertise will include 
secu
r
ity, availability, performance 
optimization together with e
xpertise 
in 
managing schema changes, production set snapshots, warm standbys, and log shipping/archiving processes
.  





 

Bonus skills

*Cloud-based applications and cloud-based storage with EC2 and S3

Hands-on with n
on-relational databases and c
loud technologies
 

*An understanding of capacity and cost planning
