PHP Lead Position

$100-120K + equity

My client is an Internet Marketing & E-commerce driven Company on Long
Island (Nassau County) that is actively seeking a PHP Developer with strong
client side and server side development skills needed for E-commerce driven
Company.  This person will be working on customer facing, high volume
traffic web sites driven by paid search and organic methods. Working will be
in a Linux environment, with PHP5, MySQL, and be involved in both client
side and server side development.  This person will be interacting directly
with the company founder, the director of sales, and the director of paid
search.  As well as have their hands in many projects and duties that are
crucial for the companies long term business goals.  The candidate will be a
key component within a growing team; taking a project management role as the
Lead Programmer and acquiring greater responsibilities as the company grows.

*	3+ Years of Experience
*	Programming & web development
*	Design and UI
*	Project management
*	Significant independent web development experience necessary
*	Intimate knowledge of social media and eCommerce sites and
functionality
*	Significant API experience - Google, Bing, Shopping Feeds, Amazon,
etc.
*	Programming experience: PHP, MySQL, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, JQuerry 
*	Strong interest and understanding in ecommerce web development
*	A strong online portfolio, demonstrating elegant and clean
design/styles
*	Entrepreneurial, innovative thinker and team player
*	Strong problem solving skills

What you'll be doing:

.         Involved in full life cycle development process

.         Gather requirements, coding and development, support and
maintenance

.         Working with our in house team

.         Design, Develop & Implement e- commerce solutions using HTML, XML
(PHP, MySQL) and other web technologies.

.         Responsible for web content development by taking creative assets
provided and coding them onto the site within templates, developing landing
pages, and new website content. 

.         Web-site maintenance 

.         Updating and revising relevant content

.         Web-based promotions/marketing

.         Responsible for creating, publishing and maintaining online
product catalog

.         Responsible for working with the President and Marketing Director
on initiatives and planning 

.         Interact well with company leaders and marketing team in order to
accomplish business goals. 

.         Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that
leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, performance
improvements, and better user experiences.
