My suggestion: Don't use Community Builder.
Take a look at Joomunity or JomSocial.

Subject: [joomla] partial answer and now the old problem
I thought it would be a
<not> good idea </not> to to change the table prefix field in
the
configuration page. Of course I <stupid move> neglected to heed,
or even
notice the exclamation pointed warning triange thingy </stupid
move>.
I thought that at worst <bad assumption> that all I would have
to do to
change things back was to edit the configuration.php file</bad
assumption>. That doesn't seem to be fixing the problem.
Hey, that does fix the problem! Apparently, Filezilla was not
overwriting the configuration.php file like it was supposed to.
I
checked by downloading it again, and I saw that my changes were
not
taking. I had to delete the original and then upload the changed
file.
That fixed that problem.
Original problem exists.
I was having issues serving up pages after logging in. I had
installed
community builder.
When I try to log in as a user, or as the administrator, I get
an error
message. These are them:
Table 'qluieatn_jo151.jos_users_visit' doesn't exist SQL=INSERT
INTO
jos_users_visit VALUES ( 62 , 1 , 0, 0, ADDDATE("2009-02-19
19:54:10",
60))
400 - Table 'qluieatn_jo151.jos_users_visit' doesn't exist
SQL=INSERT
INTO jos_users_visit VALUES ( 63 , 1 , 0, 0, ADDDATE("2009-02-19
19:57:45", 60))
I followed the instructions in the readme file for community
builder. I
know it's out of character, but I actually did that. Really!
That procedure has me using the community builder login module
and
plugins. I've tried doing the database checks again, and all
seems to be
ok as far as cb is concerned.
Thinking that I should uninstall cb and perhaps try something
else.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks,
Mark
