I don't think mySQL uses CVS anymore. From this page,
http://www.mysql.com/portal/sites/programming/index.html , they are claiming
to be using BitKeeper.
"BitKeeper is a powerful, distributed source management system which has
been used by the MySQL team to manage the MySQL development since July of
2000. Prior to that, MySQL source code was stored in CVS."
