I switched to thunderbird at the 0.3 release (now 0.4) and really like the
built-in filtering. Without switching to another email client, your best bet
is doing something server-side. If you are not running your own mail server
(or can get admin access to it) then I'd suggest taking a look at
thunderbird.
Of course the default answer from linuxland would be SpamAssassin, but I have
never researched what it would take to get going in the Windows environment.
Of course this message is sent through kmail (KDE) from a development box...
And I really miss thunderbird right now!
