Hi,
In like comparisions you can use '%%%' for wildcard checking
so, for anywhere
SELECT * FROM table WHERE field LIKE '%%%name%%%'
for right side:
SELECT * FROM table WHERE field LIKE '%%%name'
and for left
SELECT * FROM table WHERE field LIKE 'name%%%'
That is one way to do it.
