Also, I've never been fond of people being condescending in a public
forum. If you have the desire to help someone, do that: be helpful. I
also understand that directing people to references that persuade them
to ask more concise and explanatory questions is also helpful;
however, attitude is everything. Don't detract from your own
usefulness by showing that even though you're eager to help, you also
want to be condescending.
