[ Title ]
PHP Web Engineer
 
[ Summary ]
The PHP Web Engineer will be focused on a few of Yamaha's most exciting 
e-commerce sites.

The candidate is expected to have current knowledge and several years of 
experience in web development methodologies, especially those specific 
to PHP and frontend technology.

[ Technology Experience ]
Required:
* PHP5
* MVC architecture
* Presentation technologies
  - HTML (working knowledge)
  - JavaScript, DHTML, Ajax (proficient to expert)
* Object oriented design and programming in PHP5
* Relational Database (Postgres is a plus)
  - Understood at least as a user and developer, not necessarily
    as a data modeler or DBA
* UNIX-like environment (Linux, etc.)
* Source code version control

Nice to have (not required):
* PHP templating (Smarty specifically)
* Working knowledge of E-commerce payment solutions (CyberSource, 
TrustCommerce, Click&Buy all pluses)
* Eclipse IDE
* Data modeling, ERD software

[ Abilities ]
* Strong communication skills
* Professional, adaptive attitude

[ Education ]
Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred
  (Comparable experience is acceptable)
