The fact that PHP is already trying to move to version 6 when 
realistically, almost half the code still in use today is 4, and people 
are still trying to wrap their heads around the most efficient way to 
use the new "features" of 5, guarantees that it's a tough sell to 
larger corporations.  The fact that it's free doesn't help either.

This does, however, bode well for those of us whose business models 
depend on debugging and stabilizing the mountains of crappy PHP code 
that are truly out there waiting for us. :)
