The ideal candidate for this position has worked with high-load,
high-availability websites and is comfortable working in a fast-paced
startup environment.

This is a well funded early stage startup.
 
3 to 7 years of SOLID experience with LAMP stack development 

Strong background in web application development using *PHP*
Well versed in code optimization and software design principles
Experience with an object oriented coding language
Experience working in a Linux environment
Experience with MySQL, SQL and schema design
Experience with JavaScript, AJAX, Web-services and XML
Experience with Twitter a BIG PLUS.

Build new features and enhancements as we scale our systems with growth.
Prototype and implement optimization techniques and participate in design
and code reviews
